    I shipped some Maxi-Mini's yesterday.

    Triple bagged. Surrounded by packing peanuts. No heat pack. No ice pack.

    Sent via USPS Express.

    Apparently the shipment got delayed and will arrive tomorrow (2 days).


    My question is what is the survival rate? What can be done when they arrive?

    I know Maxi's are hardy but would they withstand 2 day shipments?

    I'm really stressed over this :cry:

    Guh, I just had a USPS express shipment that didn't make it in one day. Double bagged, 30 hour heat pack. The pearl bubble died and punctured the bag, the frogspawn and duncan seem to be OK AFAIK. I was on the shipping end, not the receiving end.

    bad idea using usps for over night. they are the worst for over night. here is what i was told. they dont have their own planes so just fill whats left of others planes. and are last on the totem pole.

    a friend once sent me fish threw usps express mail . it took 3 days to get here. this is how i learned this info.

    Well BTA's are tougher to ship, I have no experience with Maxi's.

    I know about this but you can't beat the price. Especially if they do end up being okay after 2 days in transit.

    i wouldn't risk killing the animal to save a couple of bucks. too much risk if pink4miss is correct.

    As have I.

    Out of maybe 150 shipments I've done with them maybe 5 ended up getting pooped.
