Maxspect Mazarra looking at many different LED setups including these. Does anyone know what kind of area one module will cover?

It comes with 3 different sets of optics. 40, 70, and 100 degree. Unlike other LED manufacturers, you are not bound by the single set of optics.

Rumor has it, for a big SPS tank, about 18". Similar to the AI basically. I've only really seen the PAR contour plot on their website (note: numbers are in cm) and this:
Mazarra Maxspect PAR numbers! - Carolina Fish Talk

Neither give much details though, the maxpect website doesn't say what optics are used and the above link doesn't mention anything about the tank or optics. So, still kind of new to guess well. Someone who has one and has a PAR meter may be able to give more insight, but so far they seem few and far between.

Thanks both, that looks like a pretty large tank it has 4 modules over it and a MP60 on the side.

the tank is small, 40x16x20h. outside units-70d optics, inside units-40d optics, units at 100percent.

    thread is on RC.

Ah yes, that's better info. The ability to mix optics is definitely cool, but all these comercial units get super expensive if you want PAR...
