Ive had "nemo" for over a year now that has survived on pods and epiphytes alone in the system, no feeding of anykind. I recently moved the tank and believe the pods took a dive in pop.....so my lil guy has resorted to coral mucus for protien. I'm going back to point rays (beach) next week to get more pods. Hopefully I can find the same sp. found last time to restart. heres a photo of nem sucking on my Xenia...i gave him some pin head crickets (very similar to pods) till i can get to the beach.

Just sounded that way, but I can assure youn that wasn't Bruce's intention.

Please post a pic of the "pods" that you collect at Point Reyes, I'd love to see what ones your grabbing. I was there just there last friday for the -1.5 low tide. Great tidepooling and brought back several specimens to ID and see of it's viability for MO use.

BTW, this behavour is seen even in healthy specimens. I don't recall ever hearing about them taking it in as a food source, you sure on that one?
