I just got back from a vacation in the Mayan Riviera with my new underwater camera. I went on 9 dives around Playa Del Carmen, here are some of my pictures. I hope everyone enjoys them. Species ID is in the url, although I have no doubt most of you won't need it :)

I'd love to see someone try a trumpet fish in a large predator tank!

I think this is actually a green sea turtle (file name is Hawksbill).

It's bull shark season in the Mayan Riviera :)

Visibility wasn't great, so couldn't use a flash.

    Thanks so much guys!

I'm using a Nikon P7000 with a Fantasea underwater housing, one Sea and Sea YS-01 strobe, and one Olympus UFL-1 strobe. I've acquired everything slowly over several years, which is why my housing and strobes are all different. For some of the pictures I used a fish eye lens that clips on to the under water housing.

I saw a ton of lion fish. It was really surprising since I didn't see a single one the last time I dove there in 2008.

You can always tell a great camera, those are just fantastic. Soooo much better than my underwater point and shoot pics from that area last year LOL. Thanks for sharing!
