Almost every reefer I know uses the current brand. It's a good light. Go for it. My local supplier deals with Current but he resells them too expensive so I opted for Odyssea T5s and MHs. Darn good lights for the cost.
But I like what Gambit said, I'm a MH user as well. I'm in the process of upgrading from PCs to MHs.

T5's are great. I'm not a big fan of my Current Nova Extreme fixture. First of all the wiring is funky so it always trips my GFCI so I have to put it on a separate timer, not on my controller, it also has poor reflectors and comes with poor bulbs. It will keep most softies and LPS no problem so you may not need anything better but just so you're aware that they're generally on the lower end of the T5 fixture quality scale but for many people they are just fine. It's possible some of their newer fixtures are better so take everything with a grain of salt.

The nova extreme pro has individual reflectors for each bulb. The non pro extreme has a single reflector for all the bulbs.

The pro is a nice unit, and even the regular non pro one is a decent unit, especially for the $$.

A friend of mine loves his extreme pro, but since I had the money I went with the tek light. We both use the same brands of bulbs, ATI and giesseman, with similar results. I just love the way the tek looks and functions. Very sleek.
