finally i have my tank on the right track. its been stable for a month now and coral algae is taking over the rocks. so i decided to try some frags. if you can help me identify what type they are and if they need any special care.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Looks great, very nice.

    1. Looks like a palys, similar to zoanthids.
    2. GSP ( green star polyps).
    3. A favia I believe could be wrong though.
    4. Red mushrooms.
    5. Yellow polyps.
    6. Ricordia.

The appearence of coloration changes with the type of lighting and angle at which you view it at.

All good easy corals to start with. They can all do well in the lower levels of the tank if the lighting is decent. You want to decide where you like the GSP, as it grows and spreads fast and can become a problem down the road.

thanks Corailline, i was thinking of putting the GSP on a rock separate from the whole agglomeration (on the sand) beside i think there is an aptaisia in the middle of the frag. it is hard to tell since it look similar to the polyps but more transparent.
the Palys was radiating light green it was really bright. i will move it by the end of the day higher in the tank. i have 4x54w t5s 2x10k and 2 actinic. and i have only 1 of the powerheads on right now (1300gph) when i turn on the second it looks like everyting is blown away in the tank so im thinking of getting an 800gph or less.
