Today we got a McCosker's wrasse to add to our 75 gal. We were going to get a Carpenter's wrasse with the Mc but the Carpenter didn't come to our LFS with their order, just the Mc. We wanted to get them both at the same time.

The McCosker's wrasse is small. My wife and I are re-thinking if we should get the Carpenter wrasse anymore because they do look a lot a like.

    Both fish are very beautiful!

There's only a false percula clown/soon to get a second and a Dimond watchman goby and now the McCoskers wrasse in the tank. We plan on maybe getting a yellow watchman, a royal gramma IF we don't get the carpenter's wrasse and a Flame angel and that's it.

Any thoughts on our re-thinking from you wrasee guys?

They do look a lot alike, so I could understand if you don't want to similar fish.

However, if you introduce the next one properly (acclimation box), you should be able to keep them together without issue.
