Hey guys Im just trying to get some ideas for a new fish I need some more color in my tank and I was thinking a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse would be a great fish to get some good red into my tank, I have my 55 gallon up and running with 3 damsels that I need to get rid of, cant stand the dang things.... so any input on a great wrasse or other fish to add some great red coloration to the tank

I am a big fan of wrasse. I have never had any flasher wrasse, but I have a yellow coris wrasse which has been a great fish. I also had a red hooded fairy wrasse that was really nice...until he jumped out a small hole in the back of my tank...RIP

I have a carpenter's and love it! If you can, get a pair so that the male flashed the female alot. I have always hear it makes the male more colorful too.

I had a male and 2 female Carpenters before. You could easily put them in a 55. Just make sure it's completely covered or they'll carpet surf.

IMO if you have the funds get a harem of flame wrasse. Get three females and one will turn male.

I love my McCosker's wrasse. You could go with a Flame angel. That would add some color.
