Don't know why, everything else in the tank is great. Prams are all good, the other fish and corals are fine. But my wrasse died yesterday. Sad and weird.

Sad to see your wrasse pass. :(

If no signs of disease or stress are present, It could have unfortunately been the fishes time :(

Did you notice anything weird with the wrasse the last day or two? Was he eating?

That sucks, I've not had good luck with these fish either. The first one I had jumped. I bought a second one after making a lid and he did ok for about a week. He ate very well, but he did just swim in one area of the tank all day. I found his body being eaten by a hermit crab a few days later.

I've heard that even the small wrasses need a much bigger space than most people give them...

He was eating until a day before he died. Maybe it was the size of the tank. His eyes were bulging, but no other sign of sickness at all. Everyone else is still doing great and water prams are still great.

Sorry for your loss :( I think bulging eyes can be a bacterial infection, but I'm not sure.

He ate and swam around just fine then, yesterday we didn't see him and i moved some rock and found him dead on the sand bottom being picked at. My tomato clown is fine and so is the camel back shrimp and blue legged crabs. Im Like you, I don't know what happend.
