    so i went out and got a candy cane coral. Any extra info on these will help...i have looked into them a bit, but seemed to be the only thing that caught my eye in the moment of heat!!!

    lol!! how do you get in an argument and bring home a candy cane???? thats too funny ;D

    info....they photosynthesize, you can feed them but its not necessary, and hopefully under the right conditions/lighting will grow like mad :)

    I think they are pretty hardy, just maintain water quality (calcium,magnesium,etc..)

    I guess buying corals is your stress therapy, huh;D

    PICS!!!

    Mine likes to be fed, I just take a tiny piece of minced table shrimp and lay in on the heads about once a week. Other than that, it grabs food out of the water column.

    LOL when your wife went up on that trip? thats kinda the same thing, maybe not?? i dunno, i kind of thought it was a "screw you" but not in a bad way kind of thing ;D;D

    Very easy to take care of, mine seem to like lots of light, Medium flow. Some say that you do not need to
    target feed them but I do once a week with frozen mysis and they seem to thrive. A you can see Mine
    have done really well, I got the 1st one at a club meeting last November and it only had 5 heads on it.
    The green one I got at a frag meet in may, it has almost tripled in size.
