    San Onofre, CA...near the Orange County / San Diego border

    I surf immediately north and south of where this was shot. To the south is Trails State Beach, where it is fairly common for baby/juvenile white sharks to come close to shore and 'explore'...

    Never seen any on a board. But guarentee they've seen me!

    Yea San Onofre is a common area for sharks, I'm a commercial diver and we do work at the power plant right there and i did a dive in the broken fish basket at the power plant and there was a 7ft leopard shark in there and at first it scared the *%$! out of me but after a while he was just curious of me and was pretty chill. i have to find the video but it was a cool expierence and totally changed my prespective on sharks. i know it was no white shark but in a 10ft X 10ft box a shark is a shark to me.
