My blue neon goby is a mean SOB. Does anyone else have this problem? Just curious, as I thought gobies are pretty peaceful.....I had a gold one, who was so sweet and was so overwhelmed with the cleaning demands of the other fish I decided to get another. BAD idea. This blue guy killed the golden and now attacks other fish! RIP golden, you were one of my favorites.

I guess attitude doesn't always correlate with size! What a jerk.

P.S. this is 90 gallons! Thought two tiny fish would get along ok in there.

You never know, but I think cleaner type fish have pretty large territories that they will zealously guard.

    Sorry on the loss.

Geeze, I never thought it would be an issue with tiny fish. But the weird thing is, the golden, who had been in the tank for months was not territorial or anything towards the new blue. The blue, when just introduced to the tank started attacking the golden....weird. This guy has an attitude problemo. And now he loves to attack my tailspot blenny.

They have similar body shapes and may have the same feeding niche in the wild.
