    48P = PWM (Pulse-width modulation)
    48D = 0-10V
    Apex Variable Speed/Dimming Module (VDM) controls 0-10V as default.

    Am I right?

    Sorry I saw the pic of the pwm module from Rapid LED after I posted.

    So you are deciding which reef controller to get?

    As far as I know, PWM = ReefKeeper or Reef Angel, 0-10V = Apex. I could be wrong and there might be a way to do it, I just dont know how at the moment.

    i would like to go with apex.some people said that apex will not work with "P" only with "D" drivers,some said that they use "P" with it.thats why i asked:)

    P you can't dimm and D you can, you can use both in a controller just using the plug as a timer.

    Time to end this argument...

    ELN-60-48D: 1-10V dimming control, Compatible with most ReefKeeper/Profilux systems (make sure your specific system can regulate 0-10V)

    ELN-60-48P: PWM signal for dimming, Fully programmable with PWM controllers (Arduino software, Reef Angel,etc)

    So, if your controller does direct current for dimming, use the D. If your control does PWM (pulse width modulation) for dimming, use the P.
