The title should read "meds to use during QT if you're completely obsessive/compulsive?"

I want to have an ich-free tank, so Cupramine would make sense ... what about something like Prazipro, and/or Maracyn 2?

A lot of LFS will treat their fish systems with any number of those meds. IMO I would leave QT tanks untreated. During the QT time you are ensuring you are not bring disease into the main tank. Only if a problem surfaced would I treat the fish. And only treat the fish with the necessary meds.

Many people will save something like copper for only detected disease whereas something like praziquantel will be used on any wild caught fish right off the bat to make sure they do not have internal parasites that would slowly kill them, usually after a QT period.

Praziquantel is HIGHLY recommended for any puffers that are purchased esp!!

I used to think the same thing, Joe, but since I don't have X-ray ich vision, I use copper regardless.
