You have the oceanic skimmer in the overflow? Is that chamber 3 (where stock return pump pushes water back in?) If you dont mind including a picture I would appreciate it . What model of skimmer is that? I love what you did in chamber 2 with your refuge, awesome idea!

Very cool. Fortunately the new Biocubes have a window in the back to view the filtration chambers already.
Sorry I didnt post pics earlier, we went to the LFS and got a small heater and I drooled over a bunch of corals. I resisted the urge tho and decided to save my money.

 

Here's a pic of the stand so far (Dont mind the paint chip missing on the blue panel.). Needs some touching up but I'm liking the outcome. Wanting to throw a couple of Fish decals on the blue panel (Corny I know.)
I love this stand because my Bf built it for me for our first Christmas;D when he bought me my first SW tank. I kept it because it was the sweetest thing ever even tho I didnt have a tank to put on it.

 

sheeeesh finally !!!!. use the slow drying paint or what? . very nice stand swagger, your tank will look right proper on top. ummm any chance before the years out, we get more pics of your tank maybe?

At the moment we're touching up the paint a bit and setting it in place. (For some reason my bf thinks that doing both at once is a good idea....:) Now he's covered in paint. Lol.

 

you know i couldnt resist. lol. youd be very dissappointed if i didnt. right? .........................right?

 

Why of course my dear. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have him using a hair dryer on the paint right now just for you so I can get the tank on top of it for more pics.

 

yes its is the oceanic skimmer. it produces a wet skimmate . not the most efficient skimmer but for its price and size, it does what i need it to do.



i leave the back lid open so the light can sit overtop and for some gas exchange



my next upgrade will be the lights...

 

thats really kind of you swagger . i really do appreciate that. lol. i did the same for someone here ( i wont mention any names, he one of those mods , lol ) last night that requested additional pics to the ones i posted of my tank and surround last night. the pressures and demands that we put on each other , youd almost think were all friends.
