Good news! Because I don't get paid until tomorrow, My LFS guy said he'd take a check from me since we're ALWAYS in there and just cash it tomorrow. I can get my LR TODAY! I'm also buying a Motoro stingray for Epixstar's 180 gal today, seeing as his b-day is coming up on the 28th and he's kind of bonded with the little guy over the past month.:p

    New pics!

Ok, here are some more pics of my 29 gal with more LR. I was told that for Seahorses you dont need a lot of LR, anyone disagree? I would really like to get it right the first time so if anyone has any input at all I would enjoy hearing it. Do you see any problems with how the rock is sitting?
Tank is a little cloudy because I was diggin around in it tryin to get the rock to sit sturdy.
I also upgraded the return pump nozzle to a Hydor FLO rotating deflector.

i would stick it vertically as tall as they will go all around the aquarium. this way the seahorses can hitch all around the tank. the macro algae will also help but this is just an idea.

Ah but this is just the beginning my dear Gexx.;D Once I get it covered with some various macros its gonna look like a seahorse jungle! I cant wait! Just a few more lbs of rock and then Its time to sit and wait. (Some of those pieces, such as the one on top, are tall skinny tower like piece that I could stick around randomly if I like.)

Thanks. That's why I liked these particular rocks, they're porous for filtration plus they have tons of little branches all over them for posts. I wish you all could see the rocks as well as I can (pics never do much justice to the real thing ya know) but these are mostly petrified coral skeletons. My LFS still has a few more pieces of this rock left so I may have to snag some more. :p
