:(...well there is a lesson to be learned here...the other day I decided to move my 3" birds nest and my 8x5"red monti cap so they could have more grow out room..so I put together 2 containers, one with ro/di(to clean off new rock they were being attached to),and one with tank water(for the corals to sit in while I clued them)...well be ya cant figure out what happened next.....................................well you guessed it I place the corals in the ro/di water by mistake, for ohhhhh weeeeelllllll ummmm the WHOLE time.....woke up the next morn to two bleached dead corals....ugh.....:(:(..so the lesson here is dont work on the tank when you have a lot on your mind or cant give your tank your full attention...sorry had to vent.. I just feel sooo stupid for doing such a thing......

It happens to the best of us.... unfortunately. Sorry for the loss, nothing is more aggravating for me when something could have been easily avoided like that.

that sucks, I am sorry for your loss! We have all done stuff like that though I bet! I know last week I killed a big merilina because I was dripping kalk and just through the tube into the tank versus putting it in the overflow like I normally do. Well you can see the direction the kalk ran onto the coral
