    Anyone every use bulbs from a company called REEF Optics?

    Company stated in 05 and selling bulbs for half the price of the norm? I dunno if it's worth the risk, IMO. Hope someone here knows something about their quality.

    the 10k puts out less PAR than some 20K's i have seen:

    Reef optics

    Ushio 10k
    [​IMG]

    your paying half the price and getting half or less the light output

    Thats what I needed to know.I'll just stick with my reeflux than.

    but doyle... if you go with reeflux, use the 12k because it has the best values out of all the reeflux ;)

    I was going to get the 14k's to get some more blue because I have 20k's now but want it a little whiter.I think the 12's would be to white.Any other suggestions? I can't thank you enough for all your help.

    for a nice middle blue color I would say hamilton 14k, decent PAR too...
    I like ushio 14k which is a verrry light blue color, almost like ice

    I use reef optics and I have no problems with growth what so ever. Great bulb at a great price

    do you have other bulbs you have also used to compare the growth to?
