Metal Halide in a Canopy?

    Confused!
    You're saying go with your metal halide set?
    As for the wood.... I think I got it.
    How does this sound... the canopy... comes with two sections on top for lids to close it off.
    I put on those two wood lids to close it up and use that to support the lighting!!
    But, can the end caps be attached onto the wood from the top... or do they have to be attached on the sides of the canopy... or do i hang a tiny piece of wood off the top...
    to then attached the end caps?

    i dont know how sturdy the reflector you get is but i just screwed the end caps into the my reflector. oh i was offering you the link incase you wanted to look at it if you didn't buy the retrofit kit yet

    if your lucky they might come already screwed into the reflector

    I am not sure if they are screwed into the reflector or not...
    but you're in agreement... the top of the canopy will have to be closed?
    I hate to have any heat trapped in there even though the back will be open and a fan running

    are you any good with wood or maybe know someone who is. No hanging from the ceiling and you have to have the hood on, have someone build a hood(or diy) and install all of the lights you have into it. You can take the pre-made lights apart and fit them into a hood. You probably wouldn't want to put MH's in with a plastic hood. That plastic (IMO) is not thick enough or made to resist the heat that MH's put out.
