    hi guys
i am going to pull my hood for my red sea max 130 apart today and change the lighting to metal halide (with the help of my electrcian mate) i will fit 2 70 watt halide globes into it and beef up the fan system with a couple of more to try and help with the temp probs which im sure i will have
i have a spare hood which is a old one thats laying around doing nothing which is why im going to try it, that way if it melts or something bad then no great loss
i am already cutting some glass to replace the plastic cover for the lights which im sure will just melt away with the extra heat
does anybody no of anyone who has tried this or anything like this?
i am intending on taking some pics to put up for uz so u can see the diff in the original lights then the halides, il try get them up later on today depending how i got with time and the potetial house fire, lol
