I run halides only... and the occasional LED for blue supplement

but, in your case I will say that that light is plenty enough. Just the halides alone would suffice. You could take out a t5 on each side if you didnt want to run that much...
The halide time is short which is a plus with this configuration but not a necessity. Sounds good to me though!

I currently have one 250w halide over my 93g cube with SPS top to bottom and it lights it perfectly fine so I know you have plenty

Does anyone out there have or know anything about the Lumen Bright all-in-one fixture?
It has 2 Lumenbright mini reflectors and 2T5s with 12 Leds. The fixture comes in 36", 48", 60" and 72" long and 24 inches wide and 12 tall.

I plan on getting a 150 gallon (60x24x24) tank next year so I am still looking at what is out there.

I would really appreciate any info anyone may have on this fixture.

    Thanks

does the 60" fixture come with 3 lumenbrites? I am a large advocate of lumenbrite and lumenarc products but for a 150g i recommend having 3 bulbs and 3 reflectors.

Other than that, the lumenbrite fixture is probably one of the best fixtures out there because it has the lumenbrites with it.

Well 2 over 60" really isn't the best as far as coverage... I would consider building your own instead.
It will work but you will have a dim spot in the middle

I think the dim spots may be on each end but not sure. Will need to call CoralVue to be sure.

As you know the Lumen Brights are great reflectors which is the only reason I even consider this fixture.

If the ends get a little less light may still work as I do not plan to have many light loving corals in that area of tank.

If I put my lights together myself I was thinking of going with two Lumenbright mini wides with 2 reef bright LED strips.

I think Dingo is right that 3 would be idea, the lumen-bright mini, is designed to cover a 24x24 inch area. However, there will be some light past this and where the two overlap, you'll get some increase in PAR as the light will be additive. It's such a good reflector and reflects so much light, I think you'd be okay. You may have slightly low PAR in the center and edges though, but should still provide a good amount of light. I have a single diy fixture over my 93" cube. The light is 16" above my tank, my tank is 24" tall and I have a derasa slightly outside of the 24" coverage area, on the sand and I'd say it seems happy as a clam :)
