    All metal halides get extremely hot. I have never tried this fixture but i am sure it will rack up some heat. Some metal halides are so hot they will give you third degree burns instantly. Watch out and be careful!

    WOW. bought the 150watt metal halide from fishneedit, not only did it arrive ontime, in good packaging.. but it is so BRIGHT. its like a minature sun overhead my tank. ill post pics when i find my camera.

    fantastic honestly. I really wish i went with a 14000k bulb however though. I feel that the 10k is a bit too yellow.. Although it does look quite nice, not ur typical BLUE saltwater tank.. Ill post pics when i find my camera.
