Prob 16 inches in diameter. Maybe a little less. That 17 inch fixture looked like a good deal. What'd ya think?

Go with teh second one and hang it so that the MH bulb is right in the middle

 

And you think that's efficient? For both coral and fish? Cause 250 MH will get deep enough in my tank for sure. Good buy ya think?

the 17 inch is a 250 so yea thats def enough and idk much about that skimmer looks okay but also looks cheap to me, member, you get what you pay for bro!

Kashoub, you are not going to get a good skimmer for 70 bucks unless you have a really good friend that has a used one laying around. Seriously. DO NOT SKIMP ON A SKIMMER
