i didnt even need the razor blade after all! I was attempting to get some palys out of my tank and i just gave a tug on the chunk of rock i purchased them on from my LFS and it came right off! There are still some palys that i left behind but i got most of them. I dont want to mess with them anymore or try to scrape the rest off the main rock in my tank. Ill just put something else there to fight the palys! LOL I was thinking of putting an acan where the palys were. Is this a good idea or not? I want to get some of my acans off my sand bed and onto my rockwork so they can spread!

Same here. Now I have a pair of clippers that are rusty and have never had an issue with using those for fragging in the tank.

I hope you had gloves on if you messed with palys. At worst, wash you hands very well and don't touch your eyes, mouth, or any other area you don't want to have serious issues with.

I have seen some very scary stuff happen from touching paly's. I actually know a guy whose puppy died from ingesting a couple dried out zoas.

Paly's have paleotoxin in them, ie the stuff indigenous tribes would dip their spears into the poison the things that got shot.

Hopefully this doesn't count as pre meditation.
