Personally I wouldn't trust them of your keeping some sps and value the health/color/growth of your corals.

If you have mostly lps and softies then I suppose they might be ok (the color won't be as nice as better bulbs)
but trust me, good bulbs have large price tags for a good reason

I won't spend $70 for non-name generic bulbs. If you are willing to try, get one bulb first. Remember you get what you paid for.

I am one to say you get what you pay for, just wondering if anyone has used them with any sucess and if there corals had decent growth. His ebay score is very high and if they were crap I think you would read some negative feedback. might try them out for a test and ill let you know what happens. Im going to be losing out on 25$ if there garbage for one single bulb.

Ebay feedbacks are not product review. These particular bulbs may be slightly better than some other bulbs and show quality for a few weeks. But they will start losing color and brightness soon and your corals (especially sps) will turn brown if you use them too long.

Will wait for your test. :)

i am in italy and i have bought these bulbs for two years without any problem. In addition price delivery included changed in euro in very chip compared with other high price bulbs.
the only one raccomandation is to change every 3-4 months.
for the first time i decided to spend more money for buying giesmann coral and result was one bulb burbed after 20 days...

I recieved my bulbs on Friday and so far so good. All my corals have seemed to respond nicely and am very happy with the colors I am getting from them. It only has been 5 days so it is very early still. I will keep you guys updated and will post some pics of the tank this weekend with the new bulb color.

As Gianni inferred, the main difference between these bulbs and more expensive bulbs is that they don't last very long. A good bulb will last between 9-12 months while these tend to be about half that time before they start to shift spectrum.
