    I was just saying that for the mantis they're not ideal..MH's are great! But, for example, I just have a single actinic over my mantis tank.

    sweeeet i wont need crazy lighting for my 20gal mantis build!

    to answer the topic though, you could go with the 150W as mentioned, T5HO, or now-a-days LED setup. they'll all give you the par you need and the depth you need. the MH will do it best in my opinion. less overall maintenance on a MH but you have to deal with knowing you're sucking far more power than a T5HO or LED design.
