I have a 36in 46 gallon bow tank with 2 t5HO an soft and LPS. I want to up grade to either 4 T5 of MH. I would like to do SPS, sebae anemone and clams. The prob is that in the summer my tank reaches 82 degrees. I am wondering if I get a 250MH it that would make the temp get out of control. Also would 4 or 6 T5s be enough?

Welcome to 3reef. 4 total T5HO will be more than sufficient. You could keep SPS on the tops of the rocks right now. Crocea and Maxima should be placed on level rocks near the top of your rocks also. The rest can go in the sand.

Have you thought going with LED's? This could help keep your temps down as well.
