    will 2 mh that are 250 watts be ok on a 125 gallon tank for any kinds of coral

    I'm sure others will reply in more detail, but some corals that need strong lighting will probably be okay high up in tank, while others will be okay further from lights. What are the dimensions of tank? That makes a difference in how the light will penetrate the water depth. All corals are different, doing your research on their light needs will be key.     How many cross members do you have on top of the tank... 2 or 3??

    3 holes so that wood be 2 I like but if I have to ill cut them out

    You cut them out and you will have a bunch of water on the floor. That is what is used for brace against the tank bowing. I would go with 3 MH's over each hole or you will have a shadow you see all the time. Just lower the wattage and add another one.

    Many folks will run their MH's for 8 hours during the middle of the photoperiod with some other lights that come on a few hours before and go off a few hours after. This loosely approximates sunrise and sunset. Naturally, you can get more sophisticated if you wish.
