Hey all, I haven't been on for a while, but the 30 is going strong.

About a week ago I added a six line wrasse, but I haven't seen him since day two. I have heard that they disappear from time to time, but it has now been 5+ days with no sign (including body parts). Any advice? I have been tempted to take out all the rockwork and see if he's hiding, but I hate to disturb the corals like that. I'd like to have some idea if I need to get another one or just wait.

    TIA

I wouldnt take any rock out, sometimes they will get in the holes when you do and make matters worse. Not outside the tank anywhere? Overflow? Look in your sump if you have one?

Check overflow if you have one...then sump.

    They jump.

If dead in tank, sure sign is that you will not see any hermit crabs about. :-/

They hide for periods. Hope for best.

    Good luck.
