how long have you had it?? it seems to make more bubbles for me after I clean it real good or do a large water change, but then it goes away(the amt. cuts in half) after about 2 weeks

What kind of pump are you using with your Remora? It may be possible that the pump is not working right or may be not the right size for your skimmer. I have the Remora and have not had that problem, knock on wood. Hopefully it will correct itself!

How long have you had it for? I have the Remora as well, it's been on my tank for almost a week, I still see microbubbles, but not as many as when it started working, in fact, after this short period of time, the microbubbles are close to zero.....so give it time.

it can take a month or so to break in a skimmer.i can't recommend this method but i super glued a peace of plastic to the return on my prizm skimmer directing the bubles toward the serface of the water,so that they did'nt go all through my tank, then took it back off after the bubles stopped.

are you adding anything to your water? additives? medication? supplements? on a daily semi-daily basis? this will cause your skimmer to produce extra bubbles. As for the ones under your LR, they will eventually make it back to the surface with water flow, tiny bubbles will join others and become big enough to be pushed up....happens in my tank. BTW does your remora have the white screw inside the unit? the screw that allows you to clean the intake tube? if so, try unscrewing it and cleaning the intake with the supplied brush.

I forgot to ask you, did the bubbles appear out of the blue or have they been consistant from day one? If they suddenly appeared, you may want to clean the skimmer. Do it by rising the whole unit with hot water. That seems to work for most people I have asked about this. And about the screw, leave it on. Do not work the skimmer without it.

Other things that may affect the performance are constant on/off cycles of the skimmer. I keep mine on 24/7.
