Like the trhead title says, Someone is giving some away.

Are they worth it, beneficial, or a pest that over multiply?

    TIA,
    Todd

I dont think theyll cause any trouble. They are like everything else they wont multiply any farther than the excess food in your tank will allow

i would grab them! they are harmless fitler feeders that live within your liverock. they add an interesting alien effect to feeding time imo. definitely a good thing to have in your tank though!

I have found a couple in my tank, and they haven't seemingly multiplied a lot. I know they are beneficial members of your CUC and they're really cool looking. If you're hesitant, just get a small number.

Have had literally hundreds in my 135 for years without any negative impact.

    +1 to all the above.

I rarely ever see mine, other than the little arms poking out of holes in the rocks.

I think I actually may already have some, and I'll try and get some more.

    Thanks again all
