Micro bubble problem

    I just bought a used, hang over skimmer and its runs quite and seems to be working great but i can not get these little bubbles to stop filling my tank. what do i do?????

    remora aquac skimmer. and no pic yet. i don't have any of my tank on my comp. will have some soon. what do i do about these bubs?

    I know with new skimmers there is a break in period where you will get micro bubbles for a few days. I don't really have any experience with that skimmer though.

    i wish i could have bought new but i got it used. there is a great discount aquarium store i bought this from. i will go back to them to see if they can point me in the right direction. ive heard of things called a bubble catch. not sure if that is whhat it is called but haveyou heard of this thing? is so what do you think of them

    here is my 26 gal salt tank. Not Finished mind you. ...needs more LR and ill get rid of the plant when i get my first coral. what do you guys think

    I busted out the high tech autocad to make you a scale drawing. One thing to help the bubbles is to plumb some black pvc with holes on the top so that all the bubble can pop in the tube. Maybe put a cap on the end. I learned this idea from a fellow 3reefer who had a similar problem (trying to give credit where credit is do)

    do you mean plumb some pvc onto the intake tube from the pump. takes skill to do that pic!! haha well done

    no sir, into the out put. This allows the bubble to break in the tube for the most part.

    I think he means on the output tube so the water can exit towards the aquarium and the bubbles can pop in the tube and the gas exit thru the top and then empty into the DT.

    this skimmer doens't have power water flow back into the tank. the water just falls back into the tank

    its an aquac remora.... :(
