Micro bubbles in tank

    When my halides come on it seems like i accumulate micro bubbles everywhere. They are not coming from return or powerheads. They seem to be coming from sand. I dont smell rotten eggs so i dont think its sulfates. Any ideas?

    do you have anything stirring or sifting your sand? and how thick is it?

    tank is about two years. Yeah i have a diamond goby and sand sifting star.
