    I have a PM redline 100 skimmer

I cannot tune it so I do not get micro bubbles.

When the skimmer is off I get no micro bubbles when it is on I get micro bubbles in the DT

I have tinkered with the skimmer but it makes mad bubbles

    What can I do ?

I have the skimmer in the drain partition of my trigger sys crystal 30 sump

There is nothing you can do. It's a normal and necessary process, the skimmer is tuning itself. So wait it out, it'll take 2-3 days and the bubbles will eventually stop. So you have to keep the skimmer on and let it ride for a few days and it will be fine.

+1 on above as it should eventually stop doing that or at least cut down on amount of micro bubbles it releases
In the mean time you may be able to prevent those bubbles from ruining your viewing pleasure
if you can DIY a bubble trap, close to the outlet of the skimmer

a simple piece of foam, or filter floss secured close to where the water leaves the skimmer, can trap many of the bubbles and prevent them drifting around your system
you do not want anything to obstruct the flow, and whatever you use, it needs to be removed and rinsed weekly to prevent it clogging and possibly causing overflowing issues
