Micro Star or Small Serpent Star?

Awhile back Coraline ID'd the striped legs coming out of my rocks as micro stars. Well a new star fish came out today. It was completely white and had the body of a serpent star but the whole thing was smaller then a quarter. I have not been able to find a picture of a white star fish although im sure this is what he was because he came completely out of the rock so I could see him (which from what ive read micro stars dont do) Could it be a small serpent star??
I love finding new hitch hikers ;D

 

You can send him to a marine biologist to be microscopically examined.......or you can just wait and see if it gets bigger. ;D

 

Haha your funny, I was reading more online and white isnt a color of a serpent starfish. Maybe I have an ultra rare specimen lol

I have seen images of micro brittle stars that are white, no scientific data to back that up though. Try googling " images of micro brittle stars".

 

It's still a micro brittle star. I've had white ones & striped ones. I have a white one or 2 in my fuge right now.

My original ones came from IPSF.com. The ones I have now came in some chaeto.
