microbubbles bad for a tank?

    I dont think it hurts anything. Fish and coral just find it annoying. If its a new skimmer your referring to, it will go away or lessen after the break in period. Only actualy problem I have heard of micro bubbles causing is promoting certain types of nuisance algae growth.

    Mostly just look like crap.. I thought I heard they aren't healthy for fish though.. Some type of embolism or something... I don't remember for sure now..

    if it's your skimmer, mine was pouring crazy amounts of microbubbles into the tank from the outtake tube. I found out that filter socks work great, just make sure it's adjusted right, i didn't have it adjusted right at first and it created bad water issues outside the tank. But now that it's adjusted there are no more microbubbles in the tank, just make sure you keep an eye on the build up, i have to wash mine every 2 to 3 days.
