    Well, my Remora prefilter went on this past Saturday. I no longer have surface slick or microbubbles...but the skimmer has started producing skimmate again. I took apart the skimmer and cleaned the heck out of it before I put the prefilter on, but I'm now realizing that I neglected to rinse the prefilter itself. I'm hoping this is the reason I'm not skimming any longer.

    the micro bubbles from my skimmer are very minimal unless my hands are in the tank but i know this is normal. I do notice that one particular powerhead shoots out alot of microbubbles and it's one of my mj1200.
