Midas Blenny Jumping

My midas blenny has now jumped out of the tank on 2 occassions, and gone splat on the floor, luckily somebody was in to put him back in.
He has been in the tank for nearly 3 months now and did this twice in the last week, now could this be because they jump anyway, a rise in temp, hotter weather/pressure, or just a new trick he learnt, the water is 5/6 inches below the top of the tank so he must be one hell of a jumper, i have since cut up some condensation trays and placed them on top of tank to prevent this happening again?

 

I was gonna say....get some eggcrate up top there. Maybe that's the signal for a water change. LOL.;D

Don't think its due to water change i do 25% every month and 10% every week, but can see what you mean...

 

Ahhh that was just a joke anyway. Hehehe. I know you take care of things!!! In fact, it is Sunday. It is time for MY 30% water change. Bummer....I HAVE to fiddle with my tank today. Hate it when that happens. ;D

Nope, nothing else seems to be suffering, still a possibility i suppose, can't buy the probes over here will have to import...
