I actually found this site while looking for some places to announce an awesome event the Rockford Illinois Reef Club is putting on. I apologize for making this my first post, but otherwise I would have never found this site. I have been reefing for almost 3 years now and I have 3 systems going right now. I have a new 300 being built and I have a 92 gallon corner tank and and a 12 gallon nano.

Here is the information about the upcoming event.

Midwest FragFest, now in its second year, has become the Midwest’s premier coral conference. With an expanded program and list of sponsors, FragFest 2008 offers a complete weekend for the reef aquarium hobbyist and his/her family in a first-class facility with a water park to entertain the children.

FragFest 2008 isn’t just about buying and selling corals and reef aquarium equipment. Behind this event are reef hobbyists who care about corals and our planet’s endangered reefs. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to reef conservation efforts and given back to the community. Admission will be discounted with a donation of canned goods for the Rockford Rescue Mission.
