Might be too much

    i have 760 watts on my tank 2-250 halides 4-96 watt actinic is this too much for standard 55gal. Tank

    thats allot of light don't know if its too much.

    No but every now and then i rub sun tan lotion on them,(lol) just playing but is this too much seriously

    well I would say as long as your corals aren't bleaching and your able to keep the temp of your tank stable then you should be good. The biggest problem I might see is keeping the temp stable. do you have a chiller on the tank? what temp does your tank get to with all the lights on?

    it gets about 80 and thats only because i have fans in it

    I don't think its too much.. I had a 150w of MH on my old 5.5 gal..... JMO

    thats not bad at all then , you should be good with that lighting there's no coral I can think of that you wouldn't be able to keep.Take some pics if you get a chance.

    That will make it where you can grow any coral you want anywhere in the tank.

    should be ok but you are wasting a ton of power. 150 watt hqi x 2 would be plenty. I grow any coral I want any where in my tank with 2 x 175's in a 24 inch deep tank
