I finally re-stocked my tank today. Here's what I did:

Added a female perc to round out my ,hopefully one day, mated pair.
    Added a Six Line Wrasse
    Added a Mccosker's Flasher Wrasse

It will be interesting to see how well the wrasses get along, and how well the optical illusion my euro brace causes does at keeping fish in my tank.

    Fingers crossed.

    Thank you.

Indeed you will and then like me you will keep looking ahead to even more. Every time I "get there" I realize just how much farther I can get.

Lost the six line wrasse overnight. I'm a bit puzzled.

If it decides to be friendly enough, I'll get some for you.

I'm going to have to blame the source for the death of my six line. I'm not going to name names, but they are usually less than reputable. The flasher is looking good though swimming about today. I located a shop with a small yellow anthias today that is eating well. I'm thinking about throwing that in rather than replace the six line. Any thoughts?

You are absolutely right about 'wanting more once you get there'. I am not even there yet and know that. The deal that I have with my wife is that if I am successful with the 55 gal that I can upgrade to a 200+ gal. Thus, I am highly motivated to be successful on the 55 gal.

Sounds like you should have a 200+ gallon system in the future than:)

It's starting to really show it's colors tonight. I should have pictures of by New Years. I can't promise before then. This time a year is way too busy.
