    The angel started nipping at the clams today, but they don't even seem to notice. I'm not sure if I should take it out or see what happens.

    That is a tough call. Hopefully you can just leave the angel in there.

    It seems they are going to be ok. The angel picks a bit but the clams are so large that I don't think they really care. I can't see any damage at all and they seem to be happy as ever. Hopefully it keeps up like this.
