Any reason you ditched the ecotech light?

There was just something I didn't like about the light quality and certain corals seemed to agree. The color mix with the Orphek is perfect for my taste and already my anemone looks happier than it's looked in a long time.

I'm finding this to be the case with some of the high end controllable led lights recently. I could never get the mix I like with the ai nano either and ended up switching it out for a Innovative Marine unit that was 1/3 the cost.

Anyway, now that lights are up...

How is the spread now? Did you leave the lenses on in clusters to increase shimmer?

Spread is pretty awesome. I have the lenses off around the perimeter and off of the reds and uvs. Gives a nice even mix and hits every inch of tank.

Those must be some grumpy bears.

From the photos and videos the ecotech made your tank look better color wise than the orphek. How high above your tank was the radion?

Lol they drown long ago. I'm sure the color mix is better in some people's eyes, but my personal preference favors the Orphek. I must admit, the Radion looks downright amazing over the Solana cube I put it on today. I'll get some pictures tomorrow if I remember.

It seems like I've come full circle in this hobby and ended up back at some of the simplest corals as my favorites. Check out this new leather.

Thank you. I love the way it moves in the flow.

    My rose anemone finally split!
