    A couple of pictures of how the tank looks now. I ended up having to go back to my original idea because the clams just don't fit with rocks anymore.

    Today alkalinity held at about 11 and calcium held at about 460.

    Very nice look to the tank. Those are some large clams. Great looking frags.

    Thank you. I'm not overly excited about the look, but I just can't let go of those clams. We've come too far together.

    Those are some nice beastly clams.

    How much calcium are those guys sucking up?

    They were soaking up about 8 liters per month of chemical between calcium and alkalinity. I just installed a kalk reactor, so I'm hoping it will cut down on that a bit.





    I've got auto dosers that dose alkalinity and calcium every day. Couldn't do it without them.

    I would have to say its so hard to say goodbye to those lovely clams. They look pimp Mike.

    Calcium is still holding at 460ppm, but alkalinity is beginning a slow slide downhill. Today it's at 10dKh, so I'm adding just a few seconds from the doser for part B to start.

    Calcium holding at 460 ppm, and alkalinity is holding at 10 dKH. Looking good so far.
