I'm doing a little bit of experimenting this week. I've added Brightwell's potassium to my dosing with just a little bit going in after every water change. I'm also toying with an in-refugium live phyto culture.

 

The phyto in my little grow bottle is already getting considerably darker. It looks like I might even end up with some excess.

 

I thought my phyto idea was too good to be true, but it's already managed to feed my tank and fill up a bottle with nice dark green phyto. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.

 

Wow that is pretty condensed. How are you storing it and do you feed it to the clams?

 

The bottle I pored off today is in the fridge. The bottle that I'm growing it in just stays sitting in the refugium. I feed tons of it to all my tanks. Live phyto is a game changer.
