It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You've probably already posted this, but how are you maintaining the big three with those huge clams?

The lid on that tank does not collect condensation?

I run auto dosers for calcium and alkalinity, and I also run a kalk reactor. Before I installed the reactor, I was dosing so much that I didn't need to top off at all.

I also dose a small amount of magnesium and Seachem Balance every week to keep it all stable.

It does over time, but I clean it each week when I do the water change.

    mike,

I remember you saying you stuffed rocks all in the back of the tank. Do you have any problems with detritus or other gunk building up back there?

No. When I do water changes I dump the water into the back chambers which stirs everything back out of there.

Thanks. About how stuffed are the rocks in the back? Do you have it as stuffed as possible or do you allow there to be some water movement around the rocks?

    Thanks again.

My tank should be the poster child for researching mature size before buying things! They've grown out of control, and I would love to get rid of them. I just can't stand the thought of what may happen to them in another tank.

That's one of the reasons I don't subscribe to husbandry that requires rehoming. Not my babies.;)
