I've been looking at these frags of what I thought was a pocillopora for quite awhile now, but tonight I got a surprise when I finally took a closer look. It turns out that these little frags aren't a common, brown SPS. I'm not completely sure on the ID yet, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the micro-polyp alveoporas. Naturally, I had to add a frag to my tank!

No pictures of the frags yet, but here's a shot of the colony before I hacked it up.

 

Second guessing that ID now...

 

I finally found some "Hawkins" echinata this week.

Almost looks like a blue Digitata. Did you get an ID?
