Looks like you are off to a good start. Are you adding pods to your tank? My scooter blenny will only eat pods. I have tried to get it to eat several kinds of prepared foods, but I have no look with it. I was lucky enough to get this one with an established aquarium that I just transferred everything over to my existing tank. Everything is looking good though.

I know! I love your tank Nana, use it as a reference and for ideas for my tank.

I jimmy rigged a temporary refugium out of an old HOB filter and put some chaeto, rubble rock, and pods in there for the time being until I make my own.

I haven't tried feeding him anything frozen yet. I was lucky and he instantly started eating the Artci Pods from Reef Nutrition. He's starting to recognize that the turkey baster = food. He no longer vacates when it's near him and sticks around to eat.

That sounds great. I'm glad that you are able to recognize his needs lol. ;D That was a good idea about the HOB filter being used as a fuge as well.

Well here are some updated pics. I now have my four bulb fishneedit T5 fixture and CPR Aquafuge on my tank. I've added some new corals since my first post, but unfortunately I had a bacteria bloom and my torch colony, duncan frag, and candy cane frag died. My brain and softies are the only ones that survived.

I also lost one of my clowns, she jumped out of the tank =[ They used to hang out near the water level once the lights went off and I'm guessing something scared her.

I added some more rock from RC, but I don't know how I feel about it yet. I'm trying to avoid the rock wall look. I've come to realize that it's hard making a scape on a 24 inch tank that is 21 inches tall. I either get too much height or a barren top part of the tank.

What do you guys think of the scape?

Inertiatic - Beautiful tank! I love bow fronts.

Have you tried "Formula One Marine Pellets - size Small" ? my blenny and Maroon pig these down, everything in the tank goes crazy over them. All of my snails come up out of the sand at feeding time and the crabs almost run off the rocks to get to the area where I drop them.

I have not, but I have been eyeing them. I think I might get them and see what happens. I use New Life Spectrum pellets right now, but only my clown and firefish eat them. I also feed mysis, which everyone in the tank loves. Feed the angel Ocean Nutrition's Pygmy Angel formula and he also likes the arcti pods that I drop in to supplement the blenny.

And thank you btw on the tank comment!

You thank you as well Nana =]
