This little guy came along and I don't know much about him really. Anyone have an ID on my new crab friend?

    Rock Is Here!!

So I got my 40lbs of reefcleaners rock yesterday and I couldn't be happier with it. I got to aquascaping today and I just "finished". I kinda like how it looks now but I know I will be moving it around later on down the road. ::)

So here they are right out of the box.

I will be posting pics of my aquascape soon when the water clears up. ;D

Also, Small update. Ammonia is still at 1ppm, my guess now is that it's because of a combination of the new rocks and the lack of surface area for bacteria to colonize. The new rocks probably caused another cycle with all the dust and whatnot on them. Now I know that there's plenty of surface area so I'm going to start adding MicroBacter7 to speed up the process.

Hey, Mike! The tank is coming along nicely. I have the same size tank; check out my build thread for some ideas, if you wish. I am till looking into lighting, but will also be going the LED rout...either 2 to 3 PAR38 bulbs or a DIY CREE LED build are in my future. Not sure which, as of yet.

What's MicroBacter7? Is that an additive for cycling?

Thanks :) I'll definitely be getting the LED's from the start. I'll be getting them soon (3 months max).

MicroBacter7. Its a Biological filtration starter. It has alot of aerobic and anaerobic microbes to start up the cycle and make it happen a little faster. I've used it on 2 of my previous tanks now and It helps IMO.

    Thanks for reading, Sean :)

The water has cleared up a bit so here are the pictures. Let me know what you think of the scape as far as any improvements. I have lots of rock still that I am considering adding to complete my scape.

I like the rockwork. If you move the main section over to the right, you might have a little more room to build a larger "island"? I like islands... ;D
