    I thought so. :p

You should go with leather for the final finish, like the picture above. Very unique. ;)

Yea that's what im thinking; the person who did the one of the pics posted used a type of marine fabric; the type used for boat seats and things like that. Will help to prevent moisture issues.

I hope to either have the stand at my house tonite or by this weekend so I can start the stain process.

Ahh some health issues along the way in Nov. of last year, it got derailed a bit. We have the pump, sump, rock, sand, power heads. We doing the plumbing now. We rushed the 90 that we have up running now, so we are really taking our time with it. We deal with the current tank during the week and mostly do the upgrades on the weekends. That along with redoing the bedroom, basement, trying to fix the yard since the grub attack we had. Just waiting to pick up the skimmer and the lights. The lights are going to be last.

Well I was able to get a few more things together and thought I would update this to just a build thread and include everything. Just some randoms.

Some of the supplies came in recently.

We went with a 40 long as the sump.

    DYI overflow piping.

We decided to line the bottom of the stand with a this rubber material, we epoxied to the wood and used silicone along the edges.

Rock Work (100 percent Reef Cleaners)
    - We used acrylic rods bought online and a cement mix that was bought online to secure all of the rocks.
